Key-Account Executive Automotive


For an innovative global player in the Automotive industry, we are recruiting for a Key Account Executive Automotive with analytical and strategic skills, who is going to be the first point of contact for one of their most important customers.
You are a diplomat who is excellent at entering into long-term negotiations and who feels at home in a Japanese culture. We are looking for a Key-account executive who wants to make the next step after a first job in sales and who wants to shine internationally! You are prepared to make regular trips in the Netherlands and Europe for this. You will work at a large international organization specialized in car parts that has its EMEA headquarters in the Netherlands. With more than 300 colleagues in a super modern and fully renovated office, you ensure that the whole world within the technological and automotive sector looks up to you! A mix of nationalities, ages and knowledge, but all with a passion for the technical side of cars!

You will work in a team of five, with the main focus on key account management. This means that you and your team ensure that everything in the field of finance, contracts, quality and logistics is properly arranged. As a person you are someone who dares to set a course, can work under pressure, has no problem with ad hoc matters and takes a sober view of things.

The postion of a key-account executive summarized:

  • Customer Key Account Management
  • Create sales leads and take actions to achieve the annual plan and medium term plan.
  • Making commercial offers to the customer (RFQ, handling of requests for quotation)
  • Prepare annual sales planning and contribute to the formulation and implementation of annual targets
  • Strategic market analysis
  • Ensuring good financial and contract management of the customer

What are we looking for?

We are recruiting somebody who finished a commercial or technich bachelor or master and who gained 3 -5 years relevant and recent working experience in key-accountmanagement or projectmanagement. You are eligible to work in the EU and you are able to use the English language on a professional level. As a person you are somebody who can communicate convincingly, is a strategical thinker and is open to work in a Asian culture driven organization.
